Application Fee

Effective March 1, 2009, all International student applications must be accompanied by a $65.00 (Cdn) non-refundable application fee. This is the only fee Seneca charges to submit an application to Seneca.
If you choose to submit your application through an independent Educational Agency who charges a consulting fee, for services rendered, above and beyond this $65.00 Seneca application fee, it is quite separate from Seneca. This fee is set at the agency's discretion, as the owner/operator of his/her own business. Seneca asks ALL registered Seneca Educational Agency's to not charge additional fees or to be very fair and reasonable, if charging consulting fees. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us directly.

Refund and Deferral Policies

REFUND OF FEES

Please be respectful of your fellow students and notify us as soon as you know you are not coming to Canada as expected. We have  many students on a waiting list, who will eagerly take your spot in the program.

To be eligible for a tuition refund, a written WITHDRAWAL FORM + REFUSAL LETTER from the Canadian Embassy (see Guide for International Students on the front page of this website: www.studyatseneca.ca) must be received by Seneca College with verification of its delivery date by (registered mail or courier) to reach the International Admissions office prior to the 10th day of classes in your first semester.

The calculation for the REFUND OF FEES is also posted on our website: https://studyatseneca.ca/jsp/RefundPolicy.jsp

DEFERRAL OF YOUR FIRST SEMESTER START

Please be respectful of your fellow students and notify us as soon as you know you are not coming to Canada as expected. We have  many students on a waiting list, who will eagerly take your spot in the program.

Students who register at Seneca College are considered to have purchased a seat in the program. To defer to a future semester, you  have paid your first semester fees and will send a written DEFERRAL FORM + PROOF OF PAYMENT (see Guide for International Students on the front page of the international website: www.studyatseneca.ca ). The form and proof of payment must be received by Seneca College with verification of its delivery date by (registered mail or courier) to reach the International Admissions office prior to the 10th day of classes in your first semester.

Withdrawals or Deferrals AFTER the Tenth Day of Classes:

In the event you withdraw (or defer to a future semester) after the tenth day of scheduled classes, the College can no longer offer your seat to another student due to the amount of class time missed. As a result, there will be no refund, in whole or in part, for the semester missed. Fees collected in advance for future semesters will be refunded.
